Donations made to any Heartbeat Victoria Branch will provide valuable assistance to hospitals and cardiac patients within local communities.

Donations are used to equip cardiac surgical and recovery units in public and non-profit private hospitals and to further the understanding of coronary disease. 

All equipment purchased aims at ensuring the best available care, easing staff workloads and improving patient comfort. Equipment is selected by the hospital, in consultation with surgeons and nursing staff of the Cardiac Unit.

Since its formation in November 1984 Heartbeat has provided hospitals throughout Victoria with some of the latest items of equipment and other assistance costing in excess of $2 million.
